Swan is synonymous with quality upholstered furniture. It is a cutting-edge company in terms of the research, development and subsequent use of new production technology. In fact, the company was one of the first in the sector to use highly innovative materials, including cold cure moulded polyurethane foam and fiberglass, as well as particularly advanced fabric cutting systems, such as laser beams. It pays special attention to the development of market and contemporary design trends and has been working with famous architects and designers for many years.

The company has appointed from last Year 2012 the architect Francesco Lucchese as its Art Director.
Starting last Year 2018 the Company moved to a new factory plant in Mariano Comense

All Swan’s products are characterized by extreme durability and high-quality standards, as a result of the great skill and meticulous care employed during every phase of the production process. Although clients are becoming increasingly well informed and selective, Swan can offer them a product with technical and formal characteristics able to meet even the most demanding requirements, standing out for its excellent quality on today’s overcrowded upholstery scene. Swan offers the consumer the chance to select from a range of different cushion upholstery solutions: in different levels of polyurethane foam or in different levels of polyurethane foam paired with the feather pad. All Swan’s seating collections are available with either a fabric or leather cover. Swan provides clear information on composition, washing instructions and wear resistance for each fabric. All Swan products have completely removable covers, apart from the leather products, in which only the cushion covers can be removed.

In 2011, Swan optained the official certification, “100% Made in Italy”, awarded to those enterprises whose authentic and original Italian production has been certified. The ITPI, Institute for the Protection of Italian Manufacturers, has in fact acknowledged such solid Company values as style, design, accurate craftsmanship, technical manufacturing know-how and product quality, thus attesting to the production of collections totally, conceived, manufactured and assembled in Italy. Thanks to the Company’s all-Italian production and the creation of exclusive models and projects, the adoption of typical and traditional Italian manufacturing processes, the use of semi-processed goods produced exclusively in Italy, the use of prime quality raw materials and components and the creation of products which wholly conform to the safety norms in force, Swan fully satisfies the requisites carefully assessed by the Institute for the Protection of Italian Manufacturers, ITPI, for certification purposes.
